Continuing to peak my interest, I learned that the author suggests using a brightly colored noodle to create a wider bike width and an added visual to indicate to vehicles that you need your space. She also suggests that it is a nice conversation starter and way to educate drivers about etiquette towards cyclists.

Intriguing idea for rides on busy roads. Ready to continue the trend? Maybe someday it will be common.
