We are poor judges of what other people will think and like.

Well-established comedians still try out their material at small clubs to see what gets a laugh.

Harry Potter was turned down by 12 publishing houses.

Products have to be tested to determine what people want; the designer doesn’t start with the answers.

Maybe it’s worth keeping a lighter grip on the rein of what others think about us?
