I think there is immense value in creating blocks of time for different projects outside of your normal daily routine.
Like many, my normal work days are filled with different tasks – one thing to the next throughout the day.
Being able to step away and dive into one thing for multiple days feels tremendously valuable in many ways. The tasks can be different yet still seem to bring value – whether it’s a vacation, a multi-day backpacking or boating trip, working on a house project for multiple days, or diving into writing or research for days.
These breaks to go deeper and think differently are healthy in many ways. How can you create them in your own life?
