Some of us look on the bright side. With confidence and hope for the outcome.
Others of us halt good feelings. Perhaps we have experienced so much loss and will not allow the feeling of pleasure, or hope, because we ‘know’ that it will turn negative. Just give it time and the good will go sour.
Perhaps it is helpful to identify areas of our life where we do not allow hope to creep in. Why? What’s holding us back? Are we truly okay letting go of hope? Or should we allow ourselves, maybe force ourselves, to feel pleasure in that area?
