I am currently staying in a place in between a large metropolitan area and a small mountain town that may be evacuated soon due to forest fires. On the main Street there is a steady stream of cars going each direction… I would imagine that summer coming from the metropolitan area to their second home to get belongings and others have decided to evacuate now rather than waiting for the final call.
It certainly makes one think… At what point would you decide to evacuate? Early or late? What do you bring?
When you are not facing that situation, is it worth being ready just in case you are faced with some type of emergency? And how do you prepare?
With Covid-19 and the increased natural disasters is probably a good time to start asking these questions.
