Starting a huge project can be daunting.
Maybe it’s huge because it will take a long time, such as writing a book.
Or maybe it’s huge because it will take regular commitment, such as starting a weekly or monthly newsletter.
Maybe it’s good to wait until you have more capacity in your life and schedule. But sometimes I think we make it so big that we never start. If you want to start a monthly newsletter, maybe you put it on your calendar but don’t yet call it a monthly newsletter. Maybe it’s quarterly at first until you have capacity for every month?
We all respond differently to getting started and sticking with something we start. However, isn’t starting at all better than not because you fear you will not stick with it? What can you learn from at least trying?
