Our to do list is a choice. While it might feel like work, that item you don’t want to do ended up there for a reason.
Perhaps the reason is to make a spouse happy – which you want to do for a reason. Perhaps the reason is to make your boss or a client happy – which is also tied to a reason to please.
Even though the immediate thing might not be what you want to do in the moment, it might help to remember why it made it to the list in the first place.
And if you can’t recall, then why is it there? Maybe the solution is to delete the item or move it to a ‘someday maybe’ list.
