I am convinced that half of achieving life goals is about managing energy levels. Sometimes we will have the energy to tackle more challenging tasks. In fact, what is incredibly difficult one moment may be easy later when in the right mood.
Do you allow yourself those ebbs and flows? Are you prepared enough that when the energy strikes you are organized to get the thing done?
For example, sometimes I am in big-picture manager mode – that’s when I can make the best to-do lists. Later, I might have energy to tackle one of those tasks….but if I am not prepared with the list of what I want to get done then I will not have the mental energy in some moments to get it done.
Well said.
