Sometimes it’s hard to see clearly from the inside.

Do you ever get the feeling that if you were an outsider looking in you would know exactly what to do, but because you are in the middle of it, the decision is very very unclear to you?

When we think about things in theory, it is easy to focus on just one piece. But when we’re in the middle of it, especially if it involves others, then it involves emotion and possibly a deeply ingrained story that we’ve been telling ourselves and will have to overcome. That is one great reason to have advisors who can listen and give you an outsiders perspective, and maybe even help you strategize about how to get out of your own way.
