I will do that this weekend.
I will do that next week.
Even pressing matters are easy (or necessary) to push off when we are busy.
Yet, when we leave for vacation, often it feels like we must clear the to do list. We know we can’t push to next week because we will not be doing anything next week.
How do we balance expectations? Perhaps we can acknowledge that it’s okay to ‘do it when we can’, making sure that some things remain our priority. And allowing other things to drop off altogether if it is clear that they will not become a priority.
