I have never been good about being in touch with the time of the month and how it affects me physically in terms of exercise, nutrition, and hunger. It doesn’t help that this topic is so rarely discussed, and perhaps not well understood or researched.
I just came across this article from USA Triathlon and thought it was worth sharing. Heidi Stricker shares some tips to fuel differently throughout the month; and why women have different nutrition requirements than men – at least for half of the month.
