Compassion for yourself.

Long-lasting self-improvement comes from a place of love and caring. You can want to change, but still appreciate your current self. Self-compassion is different than getting so caught up in your ego that no one wants to be around you; in fact, I think people will want to be around you even more.

Pay attention to your inner thoughts today. Try to catch yourself in the midst of negative self-talk and change your narrative.
