I know that some gyms in the U.S. have some really nice gyms…but so many of them are small, dingy rooms with a couple of machines and a little bit of space.
BUT – they still can serve to get somewhat of a workout in and to get your heart rate up. If in the midst of triathlon training, this could be a frustrating lack of opportunity. Nonetheless, a short sweat will probably still make you feel monumentally better.
Even some jumping jacks, squats, burpees, pushups etc in the room you are staying in can also give a wonderfully welcome burst of adrenaline.
