Systems.

Spending a little time on the front end can save a lot of time on the back end. Taking time to figure out efficient systems in your life can keep you organized and save time and energy.

One strategy I have heard of recently, I believe on this podcast with Gretchen Rubin, is to put your workout clothes away in sets. Rather than putting your workout shorts in one place, shirts in another etc – if you are using the same outfits over and over, you could roll everything together and have a set ready to quickly grab in the morning or to lay out for the next day. This system probably doesn’t even involve a lot of front end time if you have them all together in the same load of laundry and are putting them away at the same time.

For some people, this simple step could get them working out more often!

It wouldn’t be a useful strategy for everyone, but is a good example of out-of-the-box thinking that can set you up for success.
