You can ask 10 people for an opinion and get a variety of answers.
This could be for doctors recommending the type of surgery. A vet recommending treatment. An attorney recommending a structure for your business. A real estate agent recommending what offer to make on a house.
Even if there are two possible answers, 10 of these experts are likely to vary.
So, how do we choose? Why do we ask in the first place?
Sometimes I think we are looking to confirm our own opinion. Other times we listen to the person we have built up trust in – and we hope we trust them for the right reasons.
Better to trust at some point than not at all, but also to remain diligent, to seek other opinions and to do something different when necessary.
