The flow channel.

Today I want to share this blog post from Chip Conley. He provides an interesting perspective about the need to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone before we can ever get to a comfortable state of flow – when we work at our best; not overly challenged, and not bored.

I am easily bored, and yet have a love/hate relationship with the push outside of my comfort zone. This is a helpful reminder to get out and just do it, regardless of how silly I look the first time. It’s the only way to get where I want to go.

As my cycling instructor so wonderfully put it: “It should hurt. Get over it!”
