Spending time on the right self-improvement goal.

You can spend time beating yourself up for not doing what you should be doing. But what if your should do’s are not really what you want deep down? Perhaps it is an ideal but not at this moment in time?

Sometimes we can get wrapped up into trying to figure out why we’re not doing the should’s and how to make ourselves motivated enough to do them, but if we are not ready or don’t really want to do the thing then no amount of effort is going to make that happen.

It would be wise to first spend time putting clear on the right next goal before turning to figure out how to accomplish the goal rather than spending time trying to accomplish all of the goals or all of the should dos.
