Being alone.

Astronauts have reported feeling ready to go home and be surrounded by more humans after about four months in space.

After four months of quarantine, or for some at least being aware of quarantine even if they haven’t stuck with it, and with the number of infections only increasing, how are you feeling?

The thing is, the astronauts reporting were in space for about four months. In other words, they mentally prepared for a given time period, which makes it very likely they would be ready to go home at the end of it.

We have no end point. No point for which we can mentally prepare.

If you are struggling with a feeling of isolation, perhaps you will gain some insight in this podcast about being alone.

I think it doesn’t have to be painful. But that comes from personal experience, and I love being alone; but know that I’m rather far on that spectrum and lack insight into a different way of being.
