How to change work, part 4.

This is the fourth and final in a series in which I share my musing about how to change the culture of work now that I’m a boss.

I recognize that work has different meaning for different people.

I love having my own business, but it’s not for everyone. Others are happy not to care about their work. Others enjoy finding meaning in work, but still leave it far behind when they leave.

And some obsess over work, getting in the way of their own self-care, while others have better balance.

As I enter into the world of leader, while offering positions that allow autonomy, I will be looking for the balance that works for myself and those to whom I hope to form a long-lasting kick-ass team.
