How do we communicate with others? What and how will get through to those you want to get your message?
I always think that people are going to read the emails I send, and yet I skim most of the emails I receive, even important ones. At least sometimes. We are always in a hurry and trying to figure out what we need to get out of the messages we come across.
We may learn that some people only respond to text messages. For others it might be email, or maybe a phone call. Some people may not listen to your voicemail, so if you know that then you will learn to text if you want to reach them.
What is your message? Who do you want to get your message out to? And how can you do that most effectively? Of course, as Seth Godin says, we want to make sure that we have permission to reach those people with our message.
