The right things.

If you keep trying something and it isn’t working, or doesn’t get easier for you, maybe you are doing the wrong thing.

This is advice I received recently, and I think it’s good advice in the right circumstances.

Generally, ‘the right things’, or the items that lead to success, happiness, and achieving our goals, are really really difficult. Yet, with time, they get easier.

If it isn’t getting any easier, then maybe it’s not ‘the right thing.’ Maybe you can make a small tweak to play to your strengths, and avoid weak areas – whether by hiring someone else to step in, asking someone else, or just finding a new system.

Pivoting to a better system isn’t failure, it’s intelligence.
