How do we decide to trust someone?

If someone trusts us, what do we do with that trust?

Some of us trust more easily than others. When we gain the trust of others, it is a privilege and something that could be used negatively. It is amazing how many people might trust us so easily.

I prefer to trust readily, but then to stay vigilant so as not to be let down; and not to trust so deeply so quickly that much could be lost. It’s a balance and a cost-benefit analysis, but worth being clear about moving forward.
