The president of Shopify ensures that he requalifies for his job each year. By that he means that he needs to be ensured that he is still the best in that role year after year as the company rapidly grows.

I am loving this concept.

We can easily get stale doing things year after year. How do we ensure that we are requalified for whatever it is that we are doing? How can we stay fresh? To grow just a little faster than whatever it is we are working on?
