Just do it.

I don’t remember the precise wording he uses, but Seth Godin often talks about ‘just doing the work’ and liking what you do.

There are times to choose our big-picture life, to find work that is meaningful, and to seek a life that is meaningful. That’s what this blog aims to be about (for some part at least). Yet, even the most meaningful of lives involves drudgery, struggles, the not-so-fun moments. We might recognize this on a big-picture level and yet lose sight on a nitty-gritty level.

We can choose to dive in and just do the thing sometimes. Without whining. Get it done. Tomorrow is a new day. We might even do the work in a way that makes us proud even if we would rather be working on something else.
