Feel good workout.

Three days a week I do a power zone class on Peloton. These classes are rigid – alternating within certain zones of output for a set amount of time to achieve a particular goal. I love the rigidness and the process of those classes.

But one day per week I can do any type of workout I choose.

I recently did a “feel good” ride. The instructor called out resistance and cadence goals, but it was geared towards fun as more than all-out efforts. I worked really hard, and yet also had a blast!

It was a good reminder to let ourselves play within movement. For many that won’t be in an exercise class- maybe it’s dancing outside or playing a sport or getting out with your kids.

Are you incorporating playful movement regularly?
