I attended a training about eliminating bias in the workplace. I was surprised that the presenter spent much of the time focusing on our brand. But, her point was about have to make sure that we are inviting to different groups of people as business owners.

One of her first tips was to make sure we understand and are comfortable with who we are. She said that only if we are comfortable with who we are as individuals can we admire and cherish relationships with people who are different.

This makes logical sense, it is about the last thing I would have thought of when considering what to do to eliminate bias.

Yes another realm in life where it pays to be true to yourself and to simply be yourself.
