I got a parking ticket.
First thought: Wow, it’s only $25. That’s reasonable for parking once in awhile given how difficult it is to find a long-term spot.
Second thought: But why in the heck did I let myself get a parking ticket? And then the guilt set in.
I always want to do things ‘right’. And that has been defined as not getting parking tickets.
But sometimes it’s okay to get a ticket. Sometimes it is okay to have consequences and deal with the. Sometimes other things are more important than avoiding the ticket.
