I recently decided that I wanted to do some thinking on leadership – and to turn to a book to help me do so.

I settled on listening to Tribes: We Need You To Lead Us by Seth Godin.

I don’t quite remember what I was struggling with in my own life that led me to looking for and finding this book, but one thing I have been thinking about is: why me? Who gets to lead – where is the gatekeeper to submit my application to in order to lead a community of people?

This book was a great listen to help me see and accept that there are no gatekeepers. We can and get to step up and find our community, our tribe as Seth says,

I am going to listen to it again, and would recommend it for anyone who wants to improve the world around them.
