I recently visited two small towns who have been impacted tremendously by lack of tourism over the last two summers.
One appears to be suffering, the other seems to be thriving, at least to a higher level.
There are numerous factors to be sure, however, I wonder how much of it could be self-fulfilling?
More people who are going out and spending on meals etc, the more people who have money in their pockets to go do the same.
My mentor says that we are our economy. If we spend locally, we really can see and make a difference for all of us to get to buy more of what we want.
