Short run or long run?

“Why do you have so many estate planning clients?”

“Well, because for the most part that is the only type of work I choose to do.”

As a business owner you get to choose the work you do and whom you work with. That doesn’t mean that you will not do things just for them of course, but you get to set your parameters.

Easy to have a limiting mindset, to think that you must take any work that comes your way. However, if you instead do what you love and let your passions be the guide, chances are pretty good you will also end up working to your strengths and that will pay off in the long run.

But you have to decide – are you going to play the short game or the long game?
