An error.

How and when do you rise above?

If someone blames you for something that wasn’t truly your fault, there is a time and a place to point it out and not be taken advantage of. And, there is a time and a place to apologize and make it right because there is no explaining that it was their fault.

Still not sure it’s always clear when to tell the difference, but if it doesn’t hurt you, it’s often better to take the higher road. Especially if it is a service you are providing and there was an error, again, even if not your fault.
