Well that meeting was a waste of time, what happened?

Sometimes people come in with their own ideas of what the conversation is about. Perhaps they each think the other wants what they want and therefore they think they are speaking the same language.

Best to be clear before the meeting begins so as to save everyone’s time.

But are we being clear? How do we find clarity given that we view everything through our own lens?
