What good is a script?

Ramit Sethi provides scripts to get a leg up in your financial life. Alisa Cohn provides scripts for difficult work conversations. A coach just provided me with a script for a difficult conversation I should have.

It might feel weird to copy someone else in your own communication. However, it can also be a great way to learn. One way to make a change in our lives is to make the behavioral change and let our mind follow. The same can be true with learning how to communicate bravely and authentically.

Copying others, within the bounds of decency, might just be one path learning to live our own best lives.
