Sometimes feeling down is a gift that makes us slow down. It can be peaceful in its own way. I am fortunate enough to have received my second vaccine, and I definitely had all of the symptoms, but welcome the break and very much welcome the protection. Thankful and grateful.

Knowledge.
Knowing where to turn to gain insight to help us live our lives (navigating both personal and work lives) is the crux of many of our challenges. Who do we trust for advice? What are the reliable resources to get the information we need? If we know where to turn and have access to the [...]
Seeking structure.
I'm beginning to be aware of my surroundings, but I try and go back to sleep. Then I realize it is the weekend. I do not have my alarm set, and I'm feeling relatively awake. Maybe it's time to get up? I check my watch. Almost exactly 8 hours since I went to sleep. Yup, [...]
Pranks.
Some of us despise pranks. Sure, sometimes we might just not find them funny. However, I think that I personally don't like them when or if they make me embarrassed because I didn't get it, or confused because I can't tell if it is a joke or not. Not much fun in this attitude. How [...]
Is it worth it?

The confession: I [...]

Are you good at stopping something when you need a break? My phone keeps halting notifications. I go hours without noticing, and then if I restart it they start again. It is a forced break, and maybe one of the best technology screw ups ever. My phone is looking out for me because I'm not [...]

Getting started.
Starting a huge project can be daunting. Maybe it's huge because it will take a long time, such as writing a book. Or maybe it's huge because it will take regular commitment, such as starting a weekly or monthly newsletter. Maybe it's good to wait until you have more capacity in your life and schedule. [...]
