I mark the changes of season based on when I start and stop needing to wear reflective wear for my morning runs. This morning marked the start of the cold, dark months. Not only was it dark enough for reflective wear, it also was the first morning cold enough for a warm hat and gloves. I didn’t actually wear the gloves, so trust me, it was cold enough that they would have been nice.
Not a bad thing. It takes some time getting re-used to running in the dark, but definitely the mark of a new season ahead of us!
