I’m so used to thinking of work as taking place in an office in front of a desk for a set number of hours. I realize that’s not the case for a large number of people, but it’s been the case most of my working life.

But today involved flying to Seattle, renting a car, shopping at IKEA…

Then loading the rental car…

Then taking it to the barge to travel to Juneau.

I am outfitting my office…so I think in my new world of self employment, this gets to count as work!
