As I talk with locals who have lived in my current community far longer than me, longer than I have been alive, I am reminded that time is difficult to grasp in the present moment.
Communities change. Our relationships change. Our lives change, sometimes so slowly that we hardly perceive it.
So too can our bodies change as we train, for triathlon, strength, or other. As we train longer distances, we notice that we can withstand longer duration exercise, but there are also minute changes happening each time you change for a race that you may not realize until you reflect years later. Keep going forward and exploring the movement you enjoy, you may be surprised down the road.
