Have you applied for your Real ID yet? It’s the new driver’s license in the U.S. that we all have to get by October…or some date around then.

The process is relatively straightforward. They handed me a document with my information and asked me to make any changes necessary.

As a sign of my maturing comfort with who I am, I changed my weight to match my current weight…instead of the weight that has been listed on my license for years, and that is the weight I would like to be but have never actually been.

But they didn’t actually change it! Ha ha…well, I tried.
