Changing our self-mindset is challenging. How do you possibly go from believing an internal story to changing it?
One suggestion is both simple and yet challenging to implement: figure out a new story to tell yourself.
I heard a suggestion recently that resonates strongly with me. When something negative happens externally, for example someone responds negatively to something that you said or did, instead of playing the reel in your head saying I wish I had done x differently, or wondering what could I have done differently or why does this person hate me and why am I such a horrible person, instead simply thank the situation for allowing you to have a new perspective and allowing for future growth.
Perhaps this also resonates with you?
Or perhaps there is another intervention you need?
What is one story in your head that you get hung up on and what can you begin to tell yourself to change from your current reaction?
