Thank goodness we are social creatures. I know intellectually that people have very different ideas and aspirations in life, and yet, I often struggle to internalize this.

Other people can help me to see that others are different.

It is then our job to keep this in our consciousness and remember to meet people where they are at rather than treating everyone as if they were like us, in our position.
