Being in community.

We are social beings, so tremendously influenced by others. I wonder if the last year with more isolation has changed some of that for us? Have we developed ways of being that are more in tune with our natural state?

Or perhaps we were influenced in different ways? There’s a strong online influence, but is that the same as the in-person influence?

I don’t think it’s bad that we are influenced by each other. Indeed it’s helpful to maintain a community… With lots of caveats. However, I do wonder if some of us will notice something different about ourselves now that we are going back to spending more time in person, together. A different kind of connection, a different type of being, than sitting in a zoom room.
