But it was too easy.

I got done with my day and it felt so easy and blissful that I was sure (being anxious about) that I had gotten nothing done.

Then I took a moment to reflect about the meanings that were had, the directions that were decided upon, and the things set in motion.

And I realize, it was actually an incredibly productive day. It was a day spent doing the things I like to do and that I’m good at. Not every day gets to be like that, but when we’re in a business we love and in our right role we can have peace. I tend to think work has to be hard, but I’m training myself to recognize that the days that feel easy are actually a signal that I’m doing the right thing. I should find more of those, or more accurately create more by using them as a signal of what my right role is.
