Finding our advisors.

How do we find the information and the people to help?

As I learn about financial strategies through my line of work, I realize how easy it is to get through life without knowing what you can do, what you could save if you knew, etc. However, for some of us, trusting the people with information is challenging.

You are trying to sell me X, so why should I trust you about the reason I want X?

However, I also understand you are the expert in X and what you are telling me makes sense…

I often come from a place of hesitancy, and yet, where does that get us? Life can be risky. But taking action might be better than playing it safe all the time and living in distrust. Advisors may have something in it for them, but they are also knowledgeable and our path to learning and benefiting.
